Chile não vacinará turistas que visitem o país

As autoridades chilenas esclareceram que não vão vacinar os turistas que estiverem no país. No entanto, a vacinação contra COVID-19 inclui estrangeiros irregulares que estão em seu território. Ou seja, todas as pessoas que possuem diferentes situações de residência (que estão em processo de obtenção de visto ou normalização), e que residem no Chile, têm direito à vacina.

A meta do governo chileno é atingir 15 milhões de vacinados até o final de junho, enquanto espera-se que até o final de março, cinco milhões de pessoas sejam vacinadas.

O país estima que vai comprar cerca de 36 milhões de doses da Pfizer, Sinovac, Johnson & Johnson e AstraZeneca. Porém, por enquanto não há pacto com a Moderna e não está descartado chegar a um acordo com a vacina russa, Sputnik V.
